Ilaria is quite the little dancer. Anytime a little jingle comes on a commercial or music of any kind, she starts to dance. She has a little shoulder shrug move that really makes us laugh. Even when she is in her highchair she tries to dance when she hears music.
Her vocabulary is growing...purple, please, bye, water, cookie, various animal sounds...each day is something new. She continues to change daily and we are trying to cherish each moment with her.
We were able to remove one gate to the upstairs. Gabe worked with her to show her how to get down the steps and she is now a pro! Good thing because as my belly grows, I don't think I will be able to take those gates like I used to. :-)
I am now 24 weeks and due on May 29th. We are super excited to welcome another little one into our family. Since we liked the surprise of finding out we were having a girl when Ilaria was born, we have decided to wait to find out again. This new baby will be a world changer for Ilaria - she has two baby dolls and enjoys giving them kisses every time she holds them.
Hard to believe that she is now 13 months. This past year was such a gift and continues to get better each day. We will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this year and a month later welcome our second child. What a great year ahead of us!
